The Midas Partnership

The Midas Partnership is a firm of fundraisers managed by two partners, a father,daughter team. We provide hands on fundraising, consultancy, mentoring and training. We have a number of clients ranging from the very small to the top 50 charities worldwide.

The Midas Partnership fills a niche in the existing network of services in that it is the only organisation which is prepared to be accountable because we not only provide consultancy, but put the advice into action by becoming directly involved in raising funds.

Michael Westerman

Michael, one of the founders of the original Midas, has worked on both sides of the table over the last 25 years. He has worked within the voluntary and corporate sectors, holding executive and director positions. He has worked for Littlewoods, Great Universal Stores, The British Mail Order Corporation, Action Aid and Youth Clubs UK and is a senior tutor for the Institute of Fundraising. He is former chairman of both the Institute of Fundraising, Association of Fund Raising Consultants and is a director of the Community Foundation in Wales,Sefydliad.

Zoe Westerman

Zoe has a strong background in marketing, trust fundraising & charitable events. She has worked on  the design and implementation of membership schemes for both the corporate and voluntary sectors. Her particular expertise is the development of membership schemes for local authorities and the planning and organisation of sponsorship and CSR activities of both sectors. Zoe has created strategies for both Pembrokeshire County Council, and Hinckley & Bosworth County Council. Zoe has also worked on a number of innovative schemes for the leisure industry and voluntary sector clients.

Midas is usually contacted as a result of a recommendation by one of our past or current clients. We are chosen because we get things done, and do so without publicity for the partnership,you will not find us advertising for clients!
At an initial meeting we are delighted to discuss your requirements. If we make a presentation we reserve the right to make a small charge or ask for a generous donation to one of our existing clients.
We agree to help a charity because we feel we have something to contribute. It is fulfilling, for example, to meet the key person for whose post you have run an appeal or see an essential new building opened. In short, we do the work, and we enjoy it because we are directly involved in doing it.
